About the Program

Truworths is seeking a highly organized and proactive Retail Administrator to join our Retail Services team. This role is ideal for a multi-skilled individual with strong administrative experience, excellent communication skills, and a flair for coordinating events and projects. The successful candidate thrives under pressure, is adaptable, detail-oriented, and enjoys taking on new challenges to keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage administrative tasks related to the company’s Workforce Management system, supporting stores and other business areas with queries and payroll processes.
  • Ensure accurate business structure and information across systems.
  • Prepare weekly HR training reports and yearly store performance reports.
  • Coordinate ad hoc projects between stores and Head Office.
  • Oversee the business’s annual communication publication.
  • Maintain e-commerce administration, including promotions, store updates, and details.
  • Update and maintain accurate store information for Google listings.
  • Support the internal staff recognition program by capturing compliments, tracking points, and managing smaller initiatives.
  • Coordinate venues, travel, and logistics for Roadshow events nationwide.
  • Liaise with hotels, restaurants, and activity providers for the annual staff recognition event.
  • Assist with content and presentation proposals for events.
  • Manage travel arrangements for events held three times a year.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Matric, National Diploma, Degree, or relevant qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of administrative experience.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in events coordination (can overlap with admin experience).
  • Previous retail or corporate experience is advantageous.
