Job Description
Tekkie Town is looking for a motivated P40 Sales Assistant to join the retail team and deliver outstanding customer service while supporting daily store operations. The role focuses on helping the store achieve strong sales performance through excellent merchandise presentation, assisting customers with their needs, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The successful candidate will also support stockroom administration, manage mark-downs and lay-byes, and ensure merchandise is replenished effectively.
Qualifications
• Matric (Grade 12)
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• Previous sales experience required

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to plan and manage daily tasks efficiently
• Computer literacy

Key Responsibilities
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
• Protect company assets including stock, cash, physical assets, staff, and customers by following company policies and procedures
• Support the effective implementation of store and department layouts
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times
• Ensure correct administration procedures for stockroom operations, mark-downs, and lay-byes
• Maintain effective merchandise replenishment and store housekeeping standards
