About the Program:
We are seeking a Manager Bakery to optimise the performance of the bakery by ensuring in-store execution aligns with business strategy, guidelines, and standards. The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal skills, the ability to build lasting relationships based on trust and expertise, and is motivated by achieving challenging goals and targets.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 and/or NQF 3 Bakery qualification
• Experience as a bakery supervisor or bakery manager, or relieved in this capacity for a minimum of 6 months
• Proven bakery experience

Key Responsibilities:

Planning

• Implement in-store execution within the bakery department according to business strategy

Store Standards

• Set and monitor bakery standards to ensure consistent quality
• Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are executed correctly

Administration

• Complete all department administration, including scheduling, leave requests, invoices, and compliance tasks in accordance with standard procedures

Merchandising Standards

• Ensure merchandising standards and sales promotions are implemented according to guidelines

Customer Focus

• Identify customer needs and plan bakery operations accordingly to meet demand

People Management

• Manage bakery staff to ensure safety, merchandising, customer interaction, and security standards are consistently maintained
