Job Summary

Rand Water is seeking a dedicated Protective Services Officer to deliver professional, high-quality protective services at the Central Depot Station and associated satellite pumping stations. The role ensures full compliance with the National Key Points Act (Act No. 102 of 1980), Rand Water policies, and site-specific operational procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 or N3 qualification
• PSIRA Grade C registration
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Firearm competency for business purposes (rifle, handgun, and shotgun)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar security environment
• Advantageous: National Key Point certification, dog handling training, and tactical training

Key Responsibilities

• Safeguard Rand Water employees, property, and assets in line with applicable legislation and company standards
• Enforce security measures and access control procedures at designated facilities
• Conduct patrols and monitor security systems to prevent incidents
• Respond effectively to security threats and emergencies
• Maintain accurate security records and incident reports
