Job Description

Key Performance Areas

  • Analyse and enhance real estate and property-related business processes to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability.
  • Elicit, analyse, and document business and technical requirements, converting them into clear and actionable solution designs.
  • Develop and maintain current-state and future-state process maps, assess business impacts, and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Coordinate and oversee testing and quality assurance activities, including test case validation and user acceptance testing.
  • Support data migration, reconciliation, and validation activities to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Contribute to strategic business and real estate projects, supporting delivery of project milestones and schedules.
  • Facilitate solution implementation and provide ongoing Level 2 operational and system support.
  • Build and manage effective relationships with vendors, technology partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date system and process documentation, supporting knowledge sharing across teams.
  • Proactively identify and recommend system and process improvements aligned with business objectives.
  • Perform additional duties as required by management.

Minimum Requirements

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Bachelor of Commerce or an equivalent relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within wholesale or retail environments.
  • At least 3 years’ experience as a Junior Business Analyst.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a retail environment, which will be advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of relevant application stacks and supporting technologies.
  • Working knowledge of BABOK, Application Lifecycle Management, SDLC, and project methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.

  • Ability to translate business and real estate objectives into detailed technical requirements.
  • Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise in business process design, optimisation, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborative, influential, and objective approach to stakeholder engagement.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
