About the Program

Main Job Purpose
The Data Capturer will support the Ivan Toms Centre and its mobile units with data-related administrative tasks, patient file management, and the compilation of accurate reports.

Role Deliverables

Clinical and Programmatic Data Capturing

• Capture client and programme data across multiple information systems, including tier.net, REDCap, online appointment booking systems, and other platforms as required.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures for data capturing.
• Ensure client files are correctly filed and easily accessible for clinical, data, and administrative purposes.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all data and risk management protocols, ensuring secure access to information systems.

Data Quality and Improvement Activities

• Accurately capture source data from client files and ensure alignment across all data systems and reports.
• Identify and report any discrepancies or challenges in data capturing or verification.
• Actively engage in quality improvement initiatives for the Ivan Toms Centre and its mobile units.
• Support the use of data for quality improvement, operational research, and organizational learning.

Reporting and Administrative Duties

• Utilize electronic medical records systems to generate and action line lists for patient and programme management.
• Ensure timely submission of all required reports.
• Produce data for programme management reports used by the M&E Officer to track progress and performance.
• Assist with other administrative tasks as directed by the M&E Officer or Project Manager.
• Participate in facility meetings, programmatic reviews, and capacity-building activities.
