About the Program:
Job Description
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of a specific digital product stream.
- Own and refine the product backlog, ensuring user stories and designs are well-defined and prioritised.
- Support sprint execution by clarifying requirements and providing detailed user stories for the development team.
- Translate the Product Manager’s vision and roadmap into actionable backlog items and align features with roadmap milestones.
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to ensure customer journeys are well-supported and validated.
- Track feature performance metrics and use data-driven insights to enhance product features.
- Monitor sprint-level KPIs such as velocity, story completion, and defect rates.
- Conduct retrospectives with delivery teams and provide feedback loops into strategic planning.
- Document user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, and create accessible knowledge bases.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coordinate release planning, communicate project status, timelines, and manage blockers.
- Streamline development processes to improve efficiency and reduce time-to-market.
- Engage cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and alignment with business priorities.
- Develop instructional materials, support resources, and facilitate training and adoption of new releases.
Job Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (Essential)
- Scrum certification (Advantageous)
- 4+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner (Essential)
- Experience with software projects and digital solutions (Essential)
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies, backlog management, and user story mapping
- Practical knowledge of UX principles, acceptance criteria, and product lifecycle execution
- Familiarity with relevant product management tools
