About the Program
Truworths offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled Planner to join our Buying and Planning teams, utilizing the latest merchandise systems in the fashion industry. This role involves sales forecasting, financial analysis, and strategic product management to ensure effective trading of product. The Planner will play a central role in developing, implementing, and controlling all aspects of merchandise planning, ensuring profitability and optimal store servicing. Collaboration across the business, including distribution and store design, is key to successfully executing product from inception to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Merchandise Buyers and suppliers to align product strategies.
- Utilize international systems alongside bespoke in-house tools for merchandise planning.
- Ensure the right mix of merchandise reaches stores at the right price and on time.
Qualifications and Experience
- 3+ years of experience, preferably within a fashion retail environment.
- Relevant numerical tertiary qualification.
- Experience with systems such as Oracle, ProClarity, and PLM is advantageous.
