Job Description

The Fitter will perform high-level fitting work, including maintenance and repairs of pneumatic and hydraulic systems. The role involves learning the operation of machinery to enable effective fault-finding, troubleshooting, and repair, ensuring equipment runs safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct fitting, maintenance, and repairs on pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Learn the functioning of machines to accurately identify faults.
• Perform troubleshooting and corrective repairs to minimize downtime.
• Ensure all work complies with safety and operational standards.
• Assist with routine maintenance to support continuous production.

Requirements:

• Relevant trade qualification or experience in fitting.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Strong problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
