Forecourt Sales Representative – Value Logistics Vacancies

Purpose of the Job
Value Logistics is seeking a dedicated Forecourt Sales Representative responsible for managing and expanding sales within petrol station forecourts and convenience retail outlets. The role requires a strong understanding of forecourt operations, effective relationship management, and the ability to operate in fast-paced environments with high product turnover. The Forecourt Sales Representative will focus on maintaining product availability, strengthening client relationships, and driving sales performance within the beverage and snack categories.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow customer accounts within the forecourt and convenience retail sector, particularly in beverage and snack product categories
  • Manage and promote private label product ranges across assigned accounts
  • Provide frequent service visits to ensure product availability and maintain merchandising standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with site managers and forecourt staff
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment to prevent stock shortages
  • Manage promotional campaigns and ensure correct execution of point-of-sale materials at forecourt locations
  • Track sales performance of key SKUs, especially fast-moving products, and recommend improvements to product assortments
  • Provide insights into consumer purchasing behaviour within forecourt environments
  • Follow route plans for site visits while prioritizing forecourt locations and adhering to delivery schedules
  • Assist with credit control activities and reconcile on-site transactions and payments
  • Compile and present reports on sales activities and performance within the forecourt channel

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric)
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant sales experience, including at least 3 years within forecourt or convenience retail sales
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven sales performance record within the past 12 months
